New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 answer key, response sheet, and question paper today, February 4. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main Session 1 exam can check and download the provisional answer key from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
Soon after the release of the provisional answer key, the objection (challenge) window has been opened. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key can submit their objections within the given time limit. Objections can be raised up to February 6, 2026 through the official website. No challenges will be accepted after the deadline.
JEE Main 2026 Answer Key Challenge Fee
The provisional answer key, question papers, and recorded responses for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) have been uploaded on the official website. Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key by paying a processing fee of ₹200 per question online.
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Final Answer Key
After reviewing all the challenges, NTA will release the final answer key. The final answer key is expected to be published along with the results on February 12, 2026. The percentile scores will be calculated based on the final answer key.

- Click on the answer key challenge link
- Log in using your application ID and password
- Select the question number and answer
- Upload supporting documents
- Pay the objection fee and submit
JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result Date
According to the official notice, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result will be declared by February 12. The result will include subject-wise percentile scores and overall percentile, but no rank or cutoff will be announced at this stage.
JEE Main 2026 Exam Dates
The JEE Main 2026 January Session was conducted from January 21 to January 29 for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech). Exams were held on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28, in two shifts each day:
- Morning: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Paper 2A (B.Architecture) and Paper 2B (B.Planning) were conducted on January 30, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, in a single shift.
